Jvc Video Decoder For Mac
Hello everyone, I'm following my experimentations on IP Cameras (under Vista Premium, hence the forum). I've had troubles with JVC VN-V25 last months, 'cause VLC couldn't read streams coming from that camera, whereas MPlayer could.
And now I'm with JVC V686, and all in all it's the same, with the same problems and a little addition, telemetry (Pan, Tilt, Zoom). They are so identical in software, that the logs I'm gonna post, are nearly identical to the ones I got from the JVC VN-V25. I'm trying to read the MPEG4 stream that the camera delivers. Here is the log for VLC 0.9.4 Grishenko and JVC V686 MPEG4 stream. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface. In fact, I gave the JVC VN-V25 back, and I got the JVC VN-V686 a short time later. Apart from the telemetry stuff, they are so alike it's frightening:p And anyways, my priority is to make V686 work with VLC (telemetry, more possibilities, and so on.) Thanks again for your help.
