Hello Friends! Don’t you guys think its amazing when something just clicks? Such products are worth every penny and hype! For years now I have never understood MAC lipstick hype, I always compared them with their drugstore dupes.

Far from ideal. Twig came in my life when my views were strongly against purchasing costly lipcolors.
Let’s see if it changed my mind or not Name- Mac twig lipstick Price- INR 1450 Quantity- 3 grams Availability- Available easily across all MAC counters My Experience Packaging– the lipstick comes in a typical round, black casing which if you ask me, makes mac lipsticks the classiest of the lot! I haven’t personally came across any lipstick which can be teemed any more chic than mac packaging! Not only is the packaging classy, but it is quite sturdy–like most of the mac products! The lipstick shuts down with an audible click sound and snaps shut tightly! Trust me, no chance of the lipstick opening and spilling on your bag or your vanity at all! The bottom of the lipstick has the shade and other details stuck upon it and no, it does not help in identifying the shade out if you have more than a couple of mac regular line lipsticks! All in all the packaging is quite acceptable and not at all flimsy or overrated!
Shade– As i mentioned earlier, Mac describes the shade as a soft muted brownish pink! But if i had to explain the shade in one simple line; I’ll call it the most amiable muted MLBB kind of shade for Indian skins! The color has loads and loads of brownish-pink undertones and is more of a daily wear shade which will suit medium-dusky skin tones the best! The shade may not look so nude in fair skins but in medium to dusky women, Twig will show up as the most beautiful nudish pink leaning more towards an earthy brown if you ask me! Finish– Twig aligns in the satin finish range of lipsticks from mac; and coming from the satin range, the lipstick is as opaque as one can get! The lipstick goes on buttery smooth sans any pulling or tugging, but not on chapped lips! Exfoliation and moisturizing prior to lipstick application is a must for smooth application!
One thing which needs to be taken care of is that since it is a highly opaque lipstick, do not swipe it more than thrice on the lips as it may sit atop the lips as a layer and look cakey, unnatural and very unflattering! Texture and Pigmentation– the texture, as i said is very creamy and true to its finish!

The lipstick texture is satiny smooth and settles to a semi-matte kind if finish which looks really pretty when paired with a blue eye look or even with a heavy grey smokey eye! The shade twig could not be any more pigmented as it goes on opaque at the very first swipe and us enough to let the true color show up on the lips! Staying power- since the lipstick is so satiny, and settles into a semi-matte finish, one can easily get a staying power of a minimum of 5 hours with minimal fading! Pros:-).
Gorgeous and a very wearableshade. Amazing staying power. Semi matte finish. A perfect MLBB shade for medium-dusky Indian skin tones.
Classy and sturdy packaging. Does not tug on the lips. Does not settle into fine lines Cons:-(. Expensive for the quantity.
